IB Recruitment 2023: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Security Assistant/ Motor Transport (SA/MT) and Multi-Tasking Staff/ General (MTS/Gen) in the Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaux, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India. The last date for submission of the application is 13.11.2023.

1. Post Name:- Security Assistant/ Motor Transport

• No of posts:- 362 [UR:221, OBC:60, SC:34, ST:30, EWS:17]
• Vacancy in Shillong: 8 posts
• Upper age limit:- 27 years as of closing date. Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Salary:- Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.
• Essential Qualification:-
  (i) Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education, and
  (ii) Possession of domicile certificate of that State against which the candidate has applied.
• Other Criteria:-
  (i) Possession of valid driving license for Motor Cars (LMV) issued by the competent authority;
  (ii) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle), and
  (iii) Experience of driving a Motor Car for at least one year after obtaining a valid driving license.

2. Post Name:- Multi-Tasking Staff/ General (MTS/Gen)

• No of posts:- 315 [UR:183, OBC:65, SC:0, ST:25, EWS:42]
• Age limit:- 18 to 25 years as of closing date. Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Salary:- Pay Level-1 (Rs. 18,000-56,900) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.
• Essential Qualification:-
  (i) Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education, and
  (ii) Possession of domicile certificate of that State against which the candidate has applied.
