NEIGRIHMS Shillong Recruitment 2024: North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Shillong has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 07 Deputy Registrar, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Executive Engineer, Medical Engineer, Senior Stores Officer, Medical Officer, and Medical Physicist vacancies on a deputation basis. The last date for submission of the application is February 12, 2024.

1. Post Name: Deputy Registrar

• No. of post: 01 (UR)
• Eligibility Criteria:

1. Must be a graduate, preferably Post Graduate in science. 
2. At least 5 (five) years of experience in a University/Teaching Institution in the area of administration in a supervisory capacity including the conduct of examination and admission, and arrangement of teaching programs in Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Medical courses.

• Age: Should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
• Pay Scale: Level 11.

2. Post Name: Deputy Medical Superintendent

• No. of post: 01 (UR)
• Eligibility Criteria:

1. A medical qualification included in the first schedule to Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualification included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (3) of the Act.
2. MD/MS degree recognized by MCI.
3. The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
4. Five years experience in the administration of a Major Hospital of at least 500 beds or any health care organization.

• Age: 40 years.
• Pay Scale: Level 11.

3. Post Name: Executive Engineer (Civil)

• Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or institute with 07 years of practical experience in planning designing and construction work.
• Age: Should not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
• Pay Scale: Level 11.

4. Post Name: Senior Bio-Medical Engineer

• No. of post: 01 (UR)
• Eligibility Criteria:

1. B.Tech./B.E. in Electronics or Bachelor’s Degree in Bio Medical Engineering from a recognized University.
2. Five years experience in a relevant field in a medical institute in the installation and maintenance of medical equipment.

• Age: Should not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
• Pay Scale: Level 11.

5. Post Name: Senior Stores Officer

• No. of post: 01 (UR)
• Eligibility Criteria:

1. Degree of a recognized University or equivalent;
2. Post Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management of a recognized University/Institution or equivalent; and
3. Not less than 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity in handling stores; preferably medical.

• Age: Should not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
• Pay Scale: Level 11.

6. Post Name: Junior Medical Officer (Transfusion & Blood Bank)

• Eligibility Criteria:

1. MD Pathology/Transfusion Medicine with one year’s experience in a recognized Blood Bank. OR MBBS with a Diploma in Pathology or Transfusion Medicine with one year’s experience in a recognized Blood Bank.
2. Must be registered with the State Medical Council.

• Age: 40 years.
• Pay Scale: Level 10.

7. Post Name: Medical Physicist

• Eligibility Criteria:

1. M.Sc. in Medical Physics or equivalent from a recognized University OR
2. (i) M.Sc. in Physics from a recognized University. (ii) A postgraduate diploma/degree in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized University/Institution.
