- Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Sports Qualification:
- Sportsperson of merit who has represented a state or country in any recognized national repute games or national championship (both junior and senior) or international repute championship conducted under the aegis of the respective Federation or association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during the last three years from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.
- Sportspersons of merit who have represented their university in A11 India Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) during the last three years, from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.
- Sportspersons of merit who have represented the state school team in the national school games conducted by the School Games Federation of India (SGFD) during the last three years, from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.
- Age limit: Age 18 to 23 years. The cut-off date for determining age will be February 15, 2024.
Application Fee of CRPF Constable Recruitment 2024: Meritorious Sportsperson Vacancy
Male candidates belonging to the Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories applying for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) under Sports Quota should pay Rs. 100 (one hundred only) as an application fee through the CRPF Recruitment website recruitment.crpf.gov.in. Applications received with any other mode of fee payment will be summarily rejected. Fees are exempt for females and candidates in the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
How to Apply for CRPF Constable Recruitment 2024: Meritorious Sportsperson Vacancy?
- Online application mode will be opened w.e.f. January 16, 2024, at 09:00 AM and closed on February 15, 2024, at noon on the CRPF recruitment website, recruitment.crpf.gov.in.
- Eligible and interested candidates should apply only through the CRPF Recruitment website, recruitment.crpf.gov.in. Candidates are advised to complete the application form after carefully reading the instructions. The application must be submitted online only. No application will be accepted offline. The candidate who applied offline will be rejected summarily.
- The candidate has to upload a copy of the certificate or document for sports discipline mentioned in Paragraph 2 above in support of his or her highest medal or position or highest level of participation in the sports achievement mentioned in Paragraph 4(d) on the CRPF recruitment website in their profile created on recruitment.crpf.gov.in before applying for the post; otherwise, his or her online application will be rejected during scrutiny.
