- Educational Qualification: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (a person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
- Pay Scale: Pay Level-12 (Rs.101500 + NPA and other allowances as admissible).
- Age: Not exceeding 50 years (as of 13.02.2024).
