BRDC Meghalaya Recruitment 2024: The Bio-Resources Development Centre (BRDC), Shillong has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Analysts (Proximate and High-end Testing Units), Microbiologist/ Molecular Biologists (Microbiological/ Molecular Biological Testing Units) and Laboratory Attendants. The last date for submission of the application is 12th April 2024.
1. Post Name:- Analysts (Proximate and High-end Testing Units)
- No of posts:- 6-12
- Age limit:- 18 to 32 years. The Upper age relaxation is up to 5 years for SC/ST, OBC, and PWD candidates.
- Salary:- Negotiable
- Essential Qualification:- Post-graduate in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ FoodTechnology/ Natural Products or other related fields.
- Experience:- Minimum 1 year of work experience in Analytical Laboratories or practical experience in handling sophisticated equipment such as HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS, etc. Preference will be given to Candidates trained on ISO17025. (Experience and training will not be counted if copies of certificates are not enclosed)
2. Post Name:- Microbiologist/ Molecular Biologists (Microbiological/ Molecular Biological Testing Units)
- No of posts:- 2-3
- Age limit:- 18 to 32 years. The Upper age relaxation is up to 5 years for SC/ST, OBC, and PWD candidates.
- Salary:- Negotiable
- Essential Qualification:- Post-graduate in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Food Technology or other related fields.
- Experience:- Minimum 1 year work experience in Microbiology/ Molecular Biology Laboratory. Preference will be given to Candidates trained on ISO17025. (Experience and training will not be counted if copies of certificates are not enclosed)
3. Post Name:- Laboratory Attendants
- No of posts:- 2-3
- Age limit:- 18 to 32 years. The Upper age relaxation is up to 5 years for SC/ST, OBC, and PWD candidates.
- Salary:- Negotiable
- Essential Qualification:- Graduate in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Food Technology or other related fields.
- Experience:- Minimum 1 year of work experience in related and respective fields or similar laboratories/facilities.
