MBMA Recruitment 2024: The Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 2000 no’s (approx) Village Data Volunteers Batch IV for Garo and Khasi & Jaintia Region. The minimum required qualification is a Class XII pass. Eligible candidates may apply online. The last date for applying is 30th July 2024.

- No of posts:- 2000 approx [Garo Region: 1000, Khasi & Jaintia Region: 1000]
- Age limit:- 18-35 Years
- Salary:- Rs. 3000/- fixed per month
- Essential Qualification:-
i) The minimum educational qualification for VDVs is Class XII passed.
ii) Candidates who possess a basic level of education and functional literacy to carry out data collection tasks effectively would be preferred - Language Preferred:- Khasi, Garo & Jaintia
- Skills Required:
i) Good Communication in both written and verbal
ii) Proficiency in using mobile applications, and digital tools, and usage of smart devices like smartphones and tablets.
Requirement
- The work entails extensive traveling.
- Profiling of all the villages in their cluster.
- Comprehensive household data collection
- Census listing, collecting data for family –id and subsequent updates to it.
- Collecting Village level data required for monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Any other activity required by the Government of Meghalaya.
- A VDV is expected to quickly carry out the tasks assigned without compromising on quality.
- He/She is expected to get the data synchronized so that the central server/ data repository might be updated.
