Qualification for AAI NER 2024

# Graduate/Diploma: Candidates should possess a full-time (regular) four-year degree or three-year (regular) diploma in engineering in any of the above-mentioned streams, recognized by AICTE and GOI.
# ITI Trade: Candidates should possess an ITI/NCVT certificate of the above-mentioned trades from institutions recognized by AICTE and GOI.
# Senior Assistant (Electronics): Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering. 2 years of relevant experience in the concerned discipline.
# Senior Assistant (Operations): Graduates with an LMV Licensing Diploma in Management will be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience in the concerned discipline.
# Senior Assistant (Accounts): Graduate, preferably B.Com., with a computer literacy test in MS Office. 2 years of relevant experience in the concerned discipline.
# Junior Assistant (Fire Services): (i) 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/Fire with “Pass marks”. (OR) (ii) 12th Pass (Regular Study) with “Pass marks”. Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

Eligibility Criteria for AAI NER 2024

1. Only Indian nationals from the North Eastern Region (NER) are eligible.
2. Candidates who have completed their degree or diploma within the past three years from the date of application are only eligible to apply.
3. Age limit: The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 26 years as of December 31, 2023. (Relaxation in the upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD, etc., as per Govt. of India guidelines, is applicable.).
4. Post No. 9 to 12-Age limit: the candidates’ age shall be 18 to 30 years as of December 30, 2023, and the upper age limit is relaxable.
5. Monthly Stipend:
Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: Rs.15000/-
Technical (Diploma) Apprentice: Rs. 12000/-
Trade Apprentices (ITI): Rs.9000/-
Senior Assistant (Electronics): 36,000-1,10,000/-
Senior Assistant (Operations): 36,000-1,10,000/-
Senior Assistant (Accounts): 36,000-1,10,000/-
Junior Assistant (Fire Service): 31,000-92,000/-

Application Fee of AAI NER 2024

Post No. 9 to 12: Application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) is to be paid by the candidates belonging to the UR, OBC, and EWS categories.
(i) No application fee is required to be paid by women, SC/ST/ex-servicemen candidates, or persons with disabilities, and also the apprentices who have completed one year of apprenticeship training in AAI, as per the Apprentices Act 1961, are exempt.
(ii) The Airports Authority of India will accept fees through online net banking, credit cards, or debit cards only. Fees submitted by any other mode will not be accepted.
(iii) Fees, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The Airports Authority of India, Regional Headquarter (North Eastern Region), is inviting eligible candidates’ applications through the NATS and NAPS Portal who are domiciles of Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and Mizoram for an apprenticeship training program of one year in various airports in the North Eastern Region, viz. Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Lilabari, Silchar, Tezpur, Rupsi, Hollongi, Agartala, Imphal, Shillong, Dimapur, Tezu, and Lengpui, including Regional Headquarters for the years 2023–24. During the period of apprenticeship training, the candidates will be governed by the Apprenticeship Act of 1961 (as amended in 1973 and to date) and the commensurate policies and rules of the organization.
