AWES Recruitment 2022: Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of PGT, TGT & PRT vacancies in various Army Public Schools across India. Fresh and Experienced Candidates who are looking for Teaching Jobs in their locality can apply for this. The last date for submission of the application is 5th October 2022.

Army Public Schools (APS) are located in various Cantonments and Military Stations across India. These schools are administered and managed by Local Military Authorities and are affiliated with the CBSE.

1. Post Name:- Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

  • No of posts:- Will update in due course.
  • Educational Qualification:- Post Graduation in the subject concerned with 50% marks and B.Ed with 50% marks.

2. Post Name:- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

  • No of posts:- Will update in due course.
  • Educational Qualification:- Graduate in the subject concerned with 50%^ marks and B.Ed with 50% marks.

3. Post Name:- Primary Teacher (PRT)

  • No of posts:- Will update in due course.
  • Educational Qualification:- Graduation with 50% marks and D.El.Ed/ B.Ed with 50% marks. A Post-Graduate with less than 50% marks in Graduation, but more than 50% marks in Post-Graduation with the subject applied for shall also be eligible.

CTET/TET is not mandatory for appearing in the Online Screening Test. However, CTET/ TET conducted by the Centre/State government is mandatory for appointment as TGTs/PRTs. Those not qualified in CTET/ TET but found fit in all other respects may be considered for appointment on vacancies that may be ad-hoc in nature till attainment of qualification.

Age Limit as of 1st April 2023

  • Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years (In the case of Delhi schools the candidate should be in the age bracket as per DSEA&R)
  • Experienced Candidates: Below 57 years (in the case of Delhi as per DSEA&R)
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

How to apply for AWES Recruitment 2022: PGT, TGT & PRT Vacancy?

Candidates are expected to register ON-LINE for the screening exam by logging onto the Registration Portal www.awesindia.com. Candidates can register between 25 August 2022 to 05 October 2022.

Please use the steps given below to give general information about yourself to register your profile

  • For profile registration, you need to have a valid AADHAR CARD, MOBILE NUMBER, and e-mail ID.
  • You will receive an OTP on your Mobile number and e-mail ID for registration.
  • You can edit your Post/Other details any time before submitting, except for Basic Details (First Page).
  • While entering the required information in the Online form, you will be asked by the system to attach the following documents:
  1. Photographs and signatures
  2. Proof of date of birth
  3. Certificates of academic qualifications
  • The system will then ask you to pay the exam fee ON-LINE. Payment options are UPI/ Debit/ Credit Cards/ Net banking. A payment gateway has been integrated with the website for the purpose and candidates will be guided through the payment process.
  • Once registration is completed, you will get a confirmation that registration is successful. You will also be informed through e-mail and SMS regarding the same.

Important Dates for AWES Recruitment 2022

  • Registration: 25 August 2022 to 05 October 2022.
  • Availability of Admit cards online: 20 October 2022.
  • Examination: 05 November and 06 November 2022.
  • Publication of Result (Final Score Card with Percentile): 20 November 2022.
