BRDC Meghalaya Recruitment 2024: Bio-Resources Development Centre, Meghalaya has released an employment notification for recruiting the Program Associate and Field Assistant under the “Documentation of Traditional Knowledge in the State of Meghalaya” project. The Contract period is for 8 months on a purely temporary basis. The last date for submission of the application is 13.02.2024.
1. Post Name:- Program Associate
- No of posts:- 2
- Place of Posting:- EKH
- Upper age limit:- 32 years as on 1.1.2024, relaxable by 5 years to SC/ST.
- Salary:- Rs. 22,100/- usual allowances as admissible
- Essential Qualification:- Postgraduate in Botany, Forestry, or related field.
- Experience:- 1-year experience in documentation/ field work.
2. Post Name:- Field Assistant
- No of posts:- 8
- Place of posting:- EKH, SWKH, EWKH, EJH, NGH, SGH, EGH, SWGH
- Upper age limit:- 32 years as on 1.1.2024, relaxable by 5 years to SC/ST.
- Salary:- Rs. 22,100/- usual allowances as admissible
- Essential Qualification:- Graduate in Botany, Forestry, or related field.
The above posts will involve intensive field visits, data collection, field reports preparation, etc. Apart from the documentation work under the project, other activities of the Centre such as Organic Certification, documentation and collection of Indigenous Seeds for Seed Bank, and Skill Development on Sustainable Green Technologies at the Block/ Village levels will be assigned to the requirement.
