CPGSAS Ri-Bhoi Recruitment 2023: College of Post-Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences (CPGSAS), Umiam, Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 06 JRF/SRF and Project Assistant/Technical Assistant vacancies. Interested and Eligible candidates will attend the walk-in interview on 30th January 2023.

1. JRF/SRF

• No. of vacancy: 03 (Three)
• Qualification: Master’s degree in Basic Science with NET qualification/or Master’s degree in a Professional program like Agricultural Sciences from a recognized university.
• Specialization: Agricultural Microbiology/Agricultural Biotechnology/Soil Science (Social Microbiology)/Agronomy/Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/Horticulture (Pomology)/Botany/General Microbiology/Environmental Science.
• Desirable:

1. Project 2: Skills in handling HPLC for root exudates, etc., soil and plant analysis, and knowledge of citrus biodiversity are desirable.
2. Project 3: Microbiological techniques/Biofertilizers/Soil microbiology/molecular microbial ecology/ Biochemistry, etc.
3. Project 4: Agronomy/Microbiological techniques/Biofertilizers/organic farming, etc.

• Emoluments: Rs.31,000/- fixed per month + 8% HRA for years I and II and Rs.35,000/- fixed per month + 8% HRA for year III.
• Age limit: Maximum of 35 years for men and 40 years for women candidates (Relaxation as per Govt. of India norms).

2. Project Assistant/Technical Assistant

• No. of vacancy: 03 (Three)
• Qualification: Graduate in Science/Technology/B.Sc. in Agriculture.
• Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- fixed per month + 8% HRA.
• Age limit: Maximum of 35 years for men and 40 years for women candidates (Relaxation as per Govt. of India norms).
