Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Must have completed Graduation from a recognized university.
  • Should have basic computer and word processing skills.
  • Must have a typing speed of at least 20 words per minute.
  • Should be able to take dictation and prepare case files.
  • Must be an Indian citizen.

District Legal Services Authority Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  1. Maintain updated records of legal aid cases.
  2. Upload case progress details on the NALSA portal.
  3. Keep files properly indexed and well-organized.
  4. Type petitions, appeals, and applications.
  5. Handle official documents such as copies of orders or judgments.
  6. Assist the Chief Legal Aid Defence Counsel with assigned duties.
  7. Prepare reports on pending and disposed legal aid cases.
  8. Maintain monthly statistics and submit them to the State Authority.

  1. Applicants must apply in the Standard Application Form with two recent passport-size photos and self-attested documents.
