Manipur University Recruitment 2021: Manipur University, Canchipur, Imphal has released employment news notification for the recruitment 06 posts Controller of Examinations, Finance Officer, Director, Principal Vacancy for Group-A. Interested and eligible candidates may apply before 18/12/2021.
1. Post Name: Controller of Examination
- No. of post: 01 (UR)
- Scale of Pay: Level-14, Rs.144200-218200/-
- Essential Qualifications:
i) Master’s Degree with a least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
ii) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration or
iii) Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other Institutions of higher education,
Or
15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
The age of superannuation shall be 62 (sixty two) years.

2. Post Name: Finance Officer

- Essential Qualifications:

A. i) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/ allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2. of (UGC REGULATIONS ON MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHERS AND OTHER ACADEMIC STAFF IN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES AND OTHER MEASURES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF STANDARDS IN HIGHER EDUCATION, 2018)
ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.
OR
B. An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/ allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.

- Essential Qualifications:
- An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with ten years of experience in post-graduate teaching, and/or experience in research at the University National level institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level;
- In exceptional cases, teachers with 15 years of undergraduate teaching/research experience can also be considered;
OR
An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge;
And
Three years of experience in Educational Administration.

5. Post Name: Director, EMMRC
- No. of post: 01 (UR)
- Scale of Pay: Level-14, Rs.144200-218200/-
i) A Master’s Degree in any subject with consistantly good academic record.
ii) About ten years of regular service in Media or Mass Communication, specially Television, as Producer/Director or Engineer or Researcher or Administrator with emphasis on ability for software development, visualization and conceptualization of programmes and their development.
iii) Good communication skills to involve University Academics in ETV Production and
iv) Leadership qualities to manage Media Technical and Administrative staff and to coordinate production activity with Academic persons. The candidate will have to show/demonstrate software developed by him/her when called for interview.
OR
An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge in the area of Mass Media (Television)
- Desirable Qualification :
i) Knowledge and experience in computers & ICT
ii) Knowledge and experience in developing e-Content material and use in
- Higher Education
iii) Knowledge and experience in developing on-line MOOCs Courses and administering.
(In case a suitable person in the above grade is not found, the University may appoint a person in the next lower grade. Also, in the case of exceptionally qualified candidates in the area of educational TV/Film production, the qualifications and age may be relaxed).

6. Post Name: Principal Manipur Institute of Technology (MIT)
- No. of post: 01 (UR)
- Scale of Pay: Level-14, Rs.144200-218200/-
a) Ph. D. Degree and First Class is equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
b) At least two successful Ph.D. guided as supervisor/Co-Supervisor and minimum 8 research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals
c) Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to that of Professor,
Notes:
1. This position shall be of contractual in nature for 5 years and can be extended for one more term depending upon the performance.
2. Performance assessment shall be carried out through a committee appointed be the affiliating university
3. After completing the final term, the incumbent shall join back his/her parent organisation in the previous designation from where he/she has proceeded with the designation as Professor/Senior Professor as the case may be.
