Meghalaya Forest Recruitment 2022: The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Biodiversity & Wildlife), & Chief Wildlife Warden, Meghalaya has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Field Assistant on contract basis.

Post Name:- Field Assistant
- No of posts:- 4 (Four)
- Place of posting:- The candidate shall be liable to serve at any place in Meghalaya.
- Age limit:- Shall not be more than 37 Years as on 01.08.2022.
- Salary:- Rs. 25,000/- per month
- Educational Qualification:- Graduation and above in the field of Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Botany/ Forestry/ Ecology/ Landscape Ecology from a recognized University with past experience research/field experience relating to wildlife.
- Desirable Qualifications:- Master’s Degree in any of the afore-mentioned disciplines.
- Brief Description of Duties & Functions
- Data collection, field survey for investigating ecological status of small cats and elusive mammals in the State.
- Identifying small. cats in various habitats: Protected Areas, forests, plantations, private forests countryside, and agricultural sites.
- To perform such other functions as may be assigned by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Biodiversity & Wildlife), & Chief Wildlife Warden, Meghalaya from time to time.
