The upper age limit	is 18 years to 32 years, with a 5-year Relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST of Meghalaya as admissible under Government Policy.
Essential Qualification	Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University in India (established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or State Act) or an Institute recognized by the Government of Meghalaya or by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Must have a valid license/certificate of enrolment from any Bar Council (within India) at the time of submission of application. Having practiced as an Advocate in the Courts/Tribunals within the State of Meghalaya including in the High Court continuously for a minimum of 10 (ten) years as of the date of submission of application, basically on the service side. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Corporate Law. Certificates/ testimonials as proof of qualifications and experience: LL.B. Pass Certificate and mark sheets. Copy of the license/valid photo identity card issued by any Bar Council within the territory of India. Practice certificate issued by the Meghalaya State Bar Council Experience Certificate issued by a designated Senior Advocate or an advocate who has a minimum of 15 years of standing at the Bar
