NEC Shillong Recruitment 2024: The North Eastern Council Secretariat, Shillong has released an employment notification for the recruitment of the Consultant and Junior Consultant in the NEC Secretariat. The last date to apply is 31st July 2024.
1. Post Name:- Consultant
- No of posts:- 3
- Age limit:- 25 to 50 years. There will be age limit relaxation by 5 (five) years for SC/ ST candidates and 3(three) years for OBC candidates.
- Salary:- Rs. 50,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification and Experience:-
# B-Tech/BE in Civil Engineering from recognized universities/institutions.
# More than 3(three) years of experience after graduation in the field of Roads/ Bridges/ Buildings & other similar works of Civil Engineering.
# Minimum 6 (Six) months of exposure to the Planning/ Monitoring/ Execution/ DPR scrutiny of hill roads and its other appurtenances work.
2. Post Name:- Junior Consultant
- No of posts:- 3
- Age limit:- 25 to 50 years. There will be age limit relaxation by 5 (five) years for SC/ ST candidates and 3(three) years for OBC candidates.
- Salary:- Rs. 37,000/- per month

- Essential Qualification and Experience:- MA/M.Sc in Economics or M.Sc in Statistics/Mathematics or M.Tech (Electronics and Communication), M.Sc (IT) or MCA (Computer Science).
(ii) Candidates with an MA/MSc in Economics or M.Sc in Statistics/ Mathematics should possess a computer application certificate course from any reputable institute recognized by the State/Central Government authorities concerned.
(iii) Candidates should have experience handling statistical data and analysis for one (1) year in any central Govt. Office. - Desirable qualifications and experience:-
(i) Handling statistical data and analysis for five (5) years in any central or State Govt. Offices.
(ii) Candidates having experience working on e-office
2. Section Name:- T&C
- No of posts:- 1
- Essential Qualification and Experience:-
