NEIGRIHMS Recruitment 2023: North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, Shillong has released an employment notification for the recruitment of the Junior Resident Doctor.

Post Name:- Junior Resident Doctor

• No of posts:- 17 [UR:10, EWS:1, OBC:4, SC:1, ST:1]
• Age limit:- 30 years. The Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Salary:- Level 10 of Pay Matrix with entry pay of Rs.56,100/- plus NPA and other allowances as admissible under rules
• Essential Qualification:-
  i. Medical qualification included in Schedule – I & II of the 3rd Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part – II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act).
  ii. Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship.
  iii. Candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.

The 1st cut date for submission of applications is 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News. The subsequent cut dates for submission of applications will be as follows

• Second cut-off date: 29th September 2023 (Friday)
• Third cut-off date: 30th November 2023 (Thursday)
• Fourth cut-off date: 31st January 2024 (Wednesday)
• Fifth cut-off date: 29th March 2024 (Friday)
• Sixth cut-off date: 31st May 2024 (Friday)

Eligibility will be determined concerning cut-off dates for respective rolling cycle

• Two recent passport-size photo
• Certificate of Date of Birth (10th certificate)
• Certificate of EWS/SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate from the competent authority if applicable.
• MBBS passed Certificate
• MBBS Mark sheets
• MBBS Attempt certificate
• MBBS Internship Completion Certificate
• Medical Registration Certificate for MBBS
• NOC from the present employer (if employed)
• MCI/NMC Eligibility certificate for candidate(s) passing from foreign medical Institutions.

Result of screening test for Indian nationals with Foreign Medical Qualifications issued by the National Board of Examinations.

The documents submitted by the candidates will be screened before the interview and only the eligible candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria would be allowed to appear in the Walk-in Interview.

The date of the Walk-in-interview will be published on the Institute’s website. The Candidates should bring the original documents at the time of the interview at the Institute.

Candidates belonging to OBC (NCL) category are required to produce the latest OBC (NCL) certificate issued by the Competent Authority during the current financial year i.e., 1.4.2023 to 31.3.2024.
