NEIGRIHMS Recruitment 2024: Project Technical Support Staff Vacancy

NEIGRIHMS Recruitment 2024: The Department of Dermatology and STD, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Project Technical Support II, Project Technical Support I & Project Technical Support III posts sanctioned by ICMR, under the project titled “Mapping the spectrum of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and reproductive tract infections (RTIs) among the selected High-risk Groups (HRGs)- A multicentric study”. The last date for submission of the application is 2nd April 2024.

1. Post Name:- Project Technical Support-I/Lab Technician

• No of posts:- 1
• Upper age limit:- 28 years.
• Salary:- Rs. 18000+ HRA
• Essential Qualification:- 10th+ diploma (DMLT/MLT) equivalent with a minimum of two years experience in a related field.

2. Post Name:- Project Technical Support-II/Project Assistant

• No of posts:- 1
• Upper age limit:- 30 years.
• Salary:- Rs. 20000+ HRA
• Essential Qualification:- 12th (Science) + Diploma (DMLT/MLT) equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years experience in the related field

3. Post Name:- Project Technical Support III/ Medical Social worker

• No of posts:- 1
• Upper age limit:- 35 years.
• Salary:- Rs. 28000+ HRA
• Essential Qualification:– 3-year Graduate (Science) with 3 years relevant field experience especially HIV/STI services

The following will be desirable for all the posts:

• Working knowledge of Khasi and English
• Working on a computer, word processer, and data entry software
• Prior experience of working on a research project
• Additional qualification: MSW with 3 years experience in HIV/STI

Documents to be enclosed with the application form:

1. 10th or 12th Class marks certificate or higher (for proof of date of birth).
2. All certificates to support the academic qualifications.
3. Work experience certificates.
4. Higher qualification than prescribed if any (certificates to be enclosed).
5. Two recent passport-sized photographs, one to be pasted on the application form, another to be pinned to the application form.

Selection Procedure

• The applications received will be scrutinized by the screening committee. Recruitments will be made through interviews by a selection committee and a written test will be conducted if the eligible candidates are more than 30 per post. Selection is based purely on merit basis.
• The list of the candidates found eligible will be displayed on the NEIGRIHMS website. The candidates are advised to check the institute’s website for the date, time, and venue for the interview or written test. No separate communication will be sent to the candidates. Recruited candidates will be notified through email.
