1. Post Name:- Trainee Engineer (Civil)

• No of posts:- 29 [SC:8, ST:1, OBC:6, EWS:2, UR:12]
• Educational Qualification:- Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Civil Discipline from recognized Indian University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment up to 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.

2. Post Name:- Trainee Engineer (Mechanical)

• No of posts:- 20 [SC:1, ST:1, OBC:4, EWS:2, UR:12]
• Educational Qualification:- Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Mechanical Discipline from recognized Indian University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment up to 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
  # Mechanical Discipline includes Mechanical/ Production/ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation Engineering.

3. Post Name:- Trainee Engineer (Electrical)

• No of posts:- 4 [SC:3, ST:1]
• Educational Qualification:- Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Discipline from recognized Indian University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment up to 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
  # Electrical Discipline includes Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics /Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Engineering.

4. Post Name:- Trainee Officer (Finance)

• No of posts:- 12 [ST:10, UR:2]
• Educational Qualification:- CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ ICWA or CMA from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (formerly known as Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India). Passed Candidates are eligible to apply.

5. Post Name:- Trainee Officer (Company Secretary)

• No of posts:- 2 [UR:1, OBC:1]
• Educational Qualification:- Candidates passed in Company Secretary qualification with Membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) are eligible to apply.

Age limit

• 30 years as of 01.12.2021.
• The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer), 10 years for PwBD – General/EWS, 13 years for PwBD– OBC, and 15 years for PwBD – SC/ST candidates.

Salary

• Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 3% – 1,60,000 (IDA) (E2) during one year training period. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Engineer/Officer in the same scale with probation of one year. The total annual emoluments for the new joinee shall be approx. Rs. 15 Lakh.

Place of posting

• Candidates will be placed at Projects/ Power Stations/ Offices including Joint Ventures & Subsidiary Companies of NHPC located in various parts of the country or abroad.

Application Fee

• Candidates belonging to General, EWS & OBC (NCL) category are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 295/- (including GST @ 18%) through online mode.
• The SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman category candidates need not pay the registration fee.

Selection Procedure
