NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2024: for NIT Meghalaya Non-Teaching Jobs. NIT Meghalaya invites online applications from Indian nationals possessing requisite academic qualifications, experience, and age limit for appointment to various Non-Faculty i.e. Technical Assistants/Technicians in various departments, Superintendent and Junior Assistant positions regularly. Eligible candidates can apply online from 01.04.2024 to 30.04.2024.

1. Post Name:- Technical Assistant in Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering

• No of posts:- 1 [SC:1]
• Upper age limit:- 30 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level 6, with Basic pay of Rs. 35400/- (as per 7th CPC).
• Essential Qualification:-
  First Class or equivalent Grade in B.E./ B. Tech./ MCA in Computer Science from a recognized University/ Institute.
  Or
  First Class Diploma in Computer Science Engineering with excellent academic record.

2. Post Name:- Technician in Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering

• No of posts:- 1 [UR:1]
• Upper age limit:- 27 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level 3, with Basic pay of Rs. 21,700/- (as per 7th CPC).
• Essential Qualification:-
  Senior secondary (10+2) from a government-recognized Board with at least 60% marks.
  OR
  Senior secondary (10+2) from a government-recognized Board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in Computer Science/ Information & Technology Trades.
  OR
  Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in Computer Science/ Information & Technology Trades.
  OR
  Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in Computer Science & Engineering/ Information & Technology from a recognized Polytechnic/ Institute.

3. Post Name:- Technician in Computer Centre

• No of posts:- 2 [UR:1, ST:1]
• Upper age limit:- 27 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level 3, with Basic pay of Rs. 21,700/- (as per 7th CPC).
• Essential Qualification:-
  Senior secondary (10+2) from a government-recognized Board with at least 60% marks.
  OR
  Senior secondary (10+2) from a government-recognized Board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in Computer Science/ Information & Technology Trades.
  OR
  Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in Computer Science/ Information & Technology Trades.
  OR

4. Post Name:- Technician in Electronics & Communication Engineering

• Salary:- Pay Level 3, with Basic pay of Rs. 21,700/- (as per 7th CPC).
• Essential Qualification:-
  Senior secondary (10+2) from a government-recognized Board with at least 60% marks.
  OR
  Senior secondary (10+2) from a government-recognized Board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in Computer Science/ Information & Technology Trades.
  OR
  Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in Computer Science/ Information & Technology Trades.
  OR
  Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in Computer Science & Engineering/ Information & Technology from a recognized Polytechnic/ Institute.

5. Post Name:- Superintendent

• No of posts:-1 [UR:1]
• Upper age limit:- 30 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level 6, with Basic pay of Rs. 35400/- (as per 7th CPC)
• Essential Qualification:-
  First-class Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute in any discipline.
  OR
  Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.
  # Knowledge of Computer applications viz., Word processing, Spread Sheet.

6. Post Name:- Junior Assistant

• No of posts:- 1 [ST:1]
• Upper age limit:- 27 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level 3, with Basic pay of Rs. 21,700/- (as per 7th CPC)
• Essential Qualification:- Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and spreadsheets.
• Desirable:- Proficiency in other computer skills; stenography skills

All applications and payment of fees will be accepted only through online mode. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for NIT Meghalaya Non-Teaching Jobs through the NIT Meghalaya Recruitment Portal  https://nitm.ac.in/ from 01.04.2024 to 30.04.2024 up to 11:45 P.M.

Candidates who have completed filling up the application form shall have to pay the application fee through SBI Collect by following the instructions carefully. Candidates are advised to read the details given in the “Check Payment Process” link carefully before making the payment.

The candidates are also instructed to keep a copy of the transaction receipt for future reference.

Application Fee

• For General candidates for Technician and Superintendent posts:- Rs. 200/-
• As per the rule, no fees will be required for Women, SC/ST, PWD or ex-servicemen applicants.
