Railway Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 5696 no’s Assistant Loco Pilot vacancies, of which 62 no’s vacancies are under RRB Guwahati. Eligible candidates may apply online. The application deadline is 19th February 2024.

- Age limit:- Between 18 to 30 years as on 1st July 2024. The Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Salary:- Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 19900/- plus other allowances as admissible.
- Essential Qualification:-
A) Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic
OR
Matriculation/ SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above
OR
B) 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering.
OR
Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized Institution instead of ITI - Note: A degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable instead of a Diploma in Engineering
Physical and Medical Standard Requirement for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024
- Medical Standard: A1
- Physical Standard: Physically Fit in All Standards
- Vision Standard:
# Distant Vision: 6/6, 6/6 Without glasses with fogging test (must not accept +2D)
# Near Vision: Sn: 0.6. 0.6 Without glasses
# Must Pass the test for Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic Vision, etc.
