SAMEER Recruitment 2024: The Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER), Mumbai has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 104 Project Assistants, Project technicians, Senior Research Scientists, and Research Scientists vacancies. The Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER) is a premier RF and microwave R&D laboratory under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. It has five centers all over the country and undertakes state-of-the-art design and development projects in advanced and next-generation technologies, as well as providing electromagnetic compliance and consultancy services for the industry. 1. Senior Research Scientist: Rs. 39,200/- per month
2. Research Scientist: Rs. 30,000/- per month
3. Project Assistant (A): Rs. 17,000/- per month
4. Project Assistant (B): Rs. 21,500/- per month
5. Project Assistant (C): Rs. 27,000/- per month
6. Project Technician (A): Rs. 15,100/- per month
7. Project Technician (B): Rs. 19,100/- per month
8. Project Technician (C): Rs. 23,600/- per month

• Age Limit:

1. 30 years as a Research Scientist
2. 35 years as Senior Research Scientist
3. 25 years for Project Assistants (A) and Project Technicians (A)
4. 35 years for Project Assistants (B) and Project Technicians (B)
5. 35 years for Project Assistants (C) and Project Technicians (C)

How to Apply for SAMEER Recruitment 2024?

All interested candidates must log in to recruit.sameer.gov.in until midnight on the closing date of the advertisement. Instructions along with the deadline for filling out the forms are available at the same link. Once the candidate fills out the online information, s/he can edit it as s/he wants. Finally, the candidate or applicant must click “FINAL SUBMIT,” on which a PDF file will be generated.

• ITI Certificate (for Project Technician Posts)

• Qualifying Exam Marks for all years (as per post applied)
• Experience Certificate (duly signed and stamped)

Selection Procedure

• Candidates applying for SRS and RS posts who fulfill the prescribed qualifications shall be required to appear for written test(s) for screening.
• Candidates applying for Project Assistant and Project Technician posts who fulfill the prescribed qualifications shall be required to appear for a written test and/or skill test for screening.
• Candidates shortlisted after the screening tests shall be required to appear for a personal interview. The date, time, and venue will be announced online subsequently. Kindly follow our webpage link, sameer.gov.in.
• Candidates who fulfill the prescribed qualifications will be able to download the identity card directly via Weblink. A printout of the ID is required to be presented for the screening test and interview.
• Final selection will be based on performance in the interview, which will be held at the venue (unless instructed otherwise) as mentioned in the admit card.
