UPSC CMS Exam 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 1261 various Medical Officer vacancies for the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2023. The last date for submission of the application is May 09, 2023.

(i) Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Service
2. Category-II
(i) Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways.
(ii) General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council.
(iii) General Duty Medical Officer Gr-II in Municipal Corporation of Delhi
Qualification for UPSC CMS 2023 Recruitment
Age Limit for UPSC CMS 2023 Recruitment
- A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2023 i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1991. However, for Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub cadre of Central Health Services, the upper age limit must not exceed 35 (thirty-five years) as of 1st August 2023.
- The date of birth accepted by the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognized by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a university which must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificate. These certificates are required to be submitted only after the declaration of the result of the written examination.
Application Fee of UPSC CMS 2023 Recruitment
Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay off the fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment. Applicants who opt for the “Pay by cash” mode should print the system-generated Pay-in slip during Part-II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of the SBI Branch on the next working day only. The “Pay by cash” mode option will be deactivated at 23.59 hours of 08.05.2023 i.e., one day before the closing date; however, applicants who have generated their Pay-in-slip before it is de-activated may pay at the counter of SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date. Such applicants who are unable to pay by cash on the closing date i.e., during banking hours at SBI Branch, for any reason whatsoever, even if holding a valid Pay-in-slip, will have no other offline option but to opt for online Debit/Credit Card/UPI Payment or Internet Banking Payment mode on the closing date i.e., till 6.00 P.M. of 09.05.2023.

How to Apply for UPSC CMS Exam 2023?
Candidates are required to apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in. The applicant needs to register himself/herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application for the examination. OTR has to be registered only once in a lifetime. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the online application for the examination.
